Iphone and Android users can find TipSubmit in the App Store or Android Market.
Its free to download and doesn't take up much space.
Once installed, navigation is pretty much a walk in the park.
Begin by selecting what agency you want to receive the tip. Manually select that yourself or use your GPS to do it.
Then select the type of tip you're submitting. Either a community tip or a school one.
Now that you've selected the agency, you'll need to protect your privacy by creating a password. This will keep the tips that you've sent in completely anonymous.
Choose the type of tip you're submitting. Add any descriptions and details that will make this tip more useful.
Then hit submit.
You'll be given the option to add even more information.
Once you're done with that, well, you're done.
If you're on the fence about whether something is in fact tip-worthy, remember what Warner Robins Police Department Spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh says.
"If you see something that looks suspicious it probably is," she says. "A lot of times people worry about calling police if it is nothing but in fact, we actually encourage that. You never know when that call may help to solve a crime."
