Crime Stoppers is a three-way partnership between the public, the media, and the police. The program allows the public to assist law enforcement agencies by anonymously providing information about unsolved crimes, crimes that are about to be committed, or the whereabouts of wanted criminals. The program is based on the principle that for every crime committed, someone other than the criminal has information that would help solve the case.
